Wood gate fees

Gate fees for high grade wood were trading at £5 per tonne in July 18, having previously fetched £0 per tonne. Low grade wood also continued to decline, remaining at £32.50 per tonne in July 18, £15 per tonne less than prices seen in July 2017.

Wood PRN prices

Wood PRN prices continued to see unprecedented gains in 2018, reaching £60 per tonne in August 2018. This is almost £58 more per tonne than prices seen in August 2017.  

Wood packaging recycling

In 2018Q2, the amount of wood packaging reprocessed in the UK amounted to 112kt, an increase of 2kt compared with 2018Q3 but 7kt less than the previous quarter.
